New smile, new you

When it comes to having the perfect smile, straighter teeth is often at the top of the wish list. And while it’s widely known that orthodontics can tackle tooth concerns such as overcrowding, gaps and bite problems, it can also give your confidence a huge boost – especially if you find yourself hiding your smile, or even trying not to smile, due to your teeth. At Dental Care Centre Mansfield, we offer the revolutionary Invisalign range of braces to help our patients get the best out of their smile.

Frequently Asked Questions

What treatments do you offer?

We offer removable Invisalign braces. These are clear plastic trays that fit over your teeth, known for being comfy and discreet, and for having minimal impact on your daily life. They’re replaced every few weeks to track with your changing smile.

How long does treatment take?

This depends on which treatment you’re having and how much work your smile needs. The average treatment time for Invisalign braces is around 12 months – so a year from now, you could be looking at the smile of your dreams.

How much does treatment cost?

Invisalign braces start at £2800, but this depends on the individual, and will be confirmed in your pre-treatment consultation. We always aim to be fair and clear in our pricing.

More Information

What can I expect from my treatment?

We’ll always discuss your treatment with you in detail, so you can make an informed choice that’s right for you. In your consultation, we’ll be able to advise on the right course of treatment and the options you have to choose from, as well as estimate how long we think treatment will take. We’re happy to talk you through any of your questions or concerns without judgement, and we won’t pressure you into making a decision at consultation stage, if you need more time.

Does the treatment hurt?

When it comes to treatment, everyone is different, so we think it’s important to make our patients feel as happy and comfortable as possible, throughout the process. Invisalign is known for being more comfortable than traditional braces, as the trays are removable (ideal for eating and keeping up with your dental routine). However, braces slowly change the layout of your teeth, so a feeling of pressure at times is normal and to be expected.

Are there any alternatives to braces?

Sometimes, alternative treatments can be used to correct problems such as gaps between the teeth, for instance veneers or crowns. We can help advise you on this at consultation stage.
