Nichola has lived locally all her life and after qualifying in Dundee in 1998, she left University and returned to the area to work at our practice. She has been part of Dental Care Centre Mansfield for over 25 years.
In addition to general dentistry, Nichola is qualified in providing tooth straightening using Invisalign Go for those wanting some simple orthodontic adjustments. She also regularly attends postgraduate dental meetings to expand her knowledge and learning.
Putting her patients at ease and keeping them happy is Nichola’s top priority, and she takes pride in her exceptional bedside manner.
Outside work, Nichola attends spinning classes and has an avid interest in Formula 1, regularly attending Silverstone for the Grand Prix. She also loves her pets, in particular her house rabbits.
Anita grew up in Sutton in Ashfield and attended school in Nottingham. She qualified at Leeds University in 1991 and then completed her VT in Manchester.
She started her career working hospital jobs in both Birmingham and at Leeds Dental Hospital, where she discovered a passion for periodontology. She later completed a Master’s Degree, specialising in periodontology, and remained in Leeds for a time, teaching postgraduates.
Anita later returned to Nottinghamshire and worked in a specialist practice in Wirksworth on advanced periodontology, later becoming a Clinical Director, where she worked with patients with disabilities and special needs. During this time, she completed her certificate in Medical Education and an Msc in Healthcare Leadership and Management.
Today, Anita divides her time between working part-time in general practice at Dental Care Centre Mansfield, and pursuing her hobbies of travelling, gardening and spending time with her three children.
Emanuel recently joined the team after providing private and NHS care from a dental practice in Skegness.
He works with us for four days a week, providing continued care to our loyal patients.
Emanuel is a ClearCorrect teeth straightening practitioner and is currently providing free consultations to patients interested in this private treatment option.
Maria joined us in May 2023 and works with us every Friday.
She has worked in the UK for over 13 years providing NHS and private care to patients in Nottinghamshire.
After studying Journalism and Photography at the University of Sunderland, Louise discovered a love of dentistry and qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2011 at Cardiff Dental School.
She has worked as a Dental Nurse, Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist across South and West Wales and the East Midlands, and has a wealth of experience in a variety of settings, including private practice, NHS practice, domiciliary care and even within a prison.
Louise prides herself on her ability to put even the most nervous of patients at ease and will work at your pace to make sure you receive the treatment you need, while feeling happy, comfortable and relaxed. She particularly enjoys working with child patients and builds up a good rapport with the children she treats.
Today, Louise is a part-time Therapist at Dental Care Centre Mansfield. In her spare time, she has a passion for crafts, enjoy meals out, and loves going to the gym, as well as spending time with her two young children.

Tracy began his career with us as an Apprentice Technician over 40 years ago and qualified as a Dental Technician in 1982. On prescription from a dentist, Tracy takes impressions and makes all of our acrylic dentures, gum shields and whitening trays. You may also see him locally as he often pops in to other practices in the area whom he also makes dentures for. Tracy loves his holidays, dancing and DIY.
Alicia joined the practice in March 2018. She completed her Dental Nurse qualification in 2019.
Since then, Alicia has developed new skills and taken on additional responsibilities that are important to the smooth operation of the practice.
Alicia often covers reception when needed. She loves her animals and has 5 pets, who take up most of her free time.
Marie originally started at the practice in 1997 and after having a short break to have her children in 2006, she returned in 2008. As well as being a qualified Dental Nurse, Marie went on to qualify for impression taking, as a Fluoride Nurse, Oral Health Educator and Dental Radiographer, which enables her to take X-rays when prescribed by the Dentist.
Marie is passionate about football and most of her free time is spent taking her daughters to football training.
Gail is our Head Receptionist. She is a qualified Dental Nurse and has over 30 years’ experience in the dental industry.
Outside work, Gail loves her holidays and spending time with her family.
Sehrie Joined the practice in May 2023. Sehrie is on hand to welcome patients to the practice and help with any queries you have.
Sehrie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2007, and was originally from a clinical background. Having worked within the NHS and private sector of dentistry, she has a wealth of knowledge including general dentistry and specialist procedures. Sehrie recently took half a step back from Dental Nursing to pursue a position within the offices of a dental laboratory, but missed being within a practice so returned to the field as our Receptionist.
Sehrie grew up and still lives in a small village in Derbyshire. When not here at the practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, and rehearsing and performing with her band Umadeus.
Irena has been with the practice since June 2019 and was working towards her dental nursing qualification. Irena loves spending time with her 2 dogs and her young family.
